Sanatorium "Ura-Tyube" is located six kilometers from the city of Ura-Tyube, at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level.
In 1659, the Kata-Sai reservoir was built at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level, which radically changed the climatic conditions not only of the city of Ura-Tyube, but also of its environs.
The climate is mid-mountain, rich in vegetation. Summers are hot and dry, the average summer temperature is +25, +350 C, relative humidity is 50-55%. The wind is dry, warm, occurs more in the evening (1.5 - 1.8 m/s), atmospheric pressure is low.
In winter, the air is clean, transparent, high in ionization; snow cover for the winter 22 mm, soft. The average annual temperature is 11.2 degrees Celsius. Fogs are rare, passing quickly. The amount of precipitation is 322 mm. The above climate is saturated with direct and diffuse and total sun rays, which have a certain effect on the human body. During this year, more days are close to the comfort zone (+18, +240 C). The picturesque landscape, the wonderful climate served as a pretext for opening a number of hospitals, in particular, a sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis, a boarding house for the rest of the workers of Sredazvodstroy, etc. In 1977, the climatic cardiological sanatorium "Ura-Tyube" was organized. On the territory of the sanatorium, fruit orchards, vineyards, rose plantations are spread over a large area. Near the sanatorium there are artificial reservoirs, used as beach complexes in the summer. The mid-mountain climate of the sanatorium makes it more effective in terms of health, based on the effective influence of mid-mountain factors on the physiological processes of the body of a vacationer. At the disposal of the sanatorium there are three sleeping buildings, a medical building, a sports ground.
Dormitories: one main building operates all year round; two summer buildings, designed for 250 beds - operate only in the summer, a building with 150 beds operates in the winter. The rooms are single and double. The main building has four floors. On each floor there are household rooms, doctors' offices, a foyer with color TVs, visual agitation tools, and colorfully designed stands. On the ground floor, intended for the treatment and recreation of disabled people and participants in the Great Patriotic War, there is everything that allows them to improve their health. On the 4th floor there is a sports hall and a solarium.
The medical building consists of two floors. On the 1st floor, balneotherapy is carried out, on the 2nd floor, physiotherapy treatment. There is a dental office, clinical and biochemical laboratories, an X-ray room and an electrosleep treatment room.
The catering unit consists of a kitchen and a dining hall with a capacity of 250 seats. The dining hall is painted with oriental ornaments, many flowers. At the disposal of vacationers there is a photo studio, a cinema hall, a hygiene room for women, a treatment room, a cultural organizer's office, where there are all the necessary musical instruments, a newsstand, a hairdresser's, a dry cleaning reception point.
TREATMENT TYPES
In the conditions of the sanatorium "Ura-Tube" vacationers can receive 80% of the treatment without leaving the main building. The sanatorium has the following types of treatment: climatotherapy, balneotherapy, physiotherapy, diet therapy, physiotherapy exercises, morning exercises, terenkur, ozokerite-paraffin therapy, aerosolium.
Climatotherapy is one of the main types of treatment in the sanatorium:
- air-solar baths (full or partial), in the shade and in the sun;
- aerotherapy (small and large) is carried out with a positive acclimatization reaction;
- thalassotherapy (exposure to the sun, air and water), carried out especially in the morning and evening;
Balneotherapy - artificial (coniferous, iodine-bromine, pearl, underwater douche-massage, Charcot's douche). All types of balneotherapy are accepted as auxiliary procedures strictly for their intended purpose.
Physiotherapy: electrophoresis with the use of various medications, Bernard currents, UHF, franklinization, quartz treatment with solux, electrosleep, inhalations (procedures are taken strictly for the intended purpose). Massage - general and local. Ozokerite-paraffin therapy - in the treatment of concomitant diseases.
Therapeutic exercise is one of the most important and necessary procedures of a climatic sanatorium. It is conducted by an exercise therapy instructor, strictly in groups, taking into account motor modes (sparing, moderately training, individual classes). During physical therapy, the instructor monitors the pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate. The coverage of patients with exercise therapy is 90%. In the mornings, morning hygienic gymnastics is carried out - at 7:30. The coverage of patients with morning exercises is 80%.
Terrenkur: 1st route - from 500 to 1000 meters; 2nd route - from 1000 to 1500 meters; 3rd route - from 1500 to 3000 meters.
